3 New Developments in South Lake Tahoe
Yes all of a sudden there is a new “place to be” in Lake Tahoe and there are 3 new developments in South Lake Tahoe. First lets start off with Zalanta since I am one of the sales agents that only makes sense that I promote my own project. Zalanta Resort at the Village as it is called is located in an unparalleled location right across from the Heavenly Ski Resort Gondola. It is a new condo development consisting of only 30 condos ranging from 2 bedroom to 4 bedroom and will feature luxury onsite management and services. The project is whole ownership and not a time-share as most of the properties are in this location.
The condos start at roughly 1200 sq.ft. and many will have mountain views, no lake views but they do include a membership in the beach only blocks away. Imagine being able to park your car after driving up from the city and not having to drive again until you head home. Everything you possibly need and want is within walking distance: casinos, restaurants, skiing at Heavenly, spa services, Lake Tahoe, mountain bike and hiking trails, grocery store, nightlife-everything! Next Edgewood Companies is proud to announce The Lodge at Edgewood Tahoe and that as well is currently under construction. It is located at the current Edgewood Golf Course-home of the famous celebrity golf tournament each summer. It doesn’t consist of condos for sale but a LEED-designed hotel with 154 luxury guest rooms, a health spa, bistro style restaurant, conference center, and much more available to guests upon opening mid-2017. Significant water quality improvement to the 4,200 acre Edgewood Creek watershed is also a major highlight of the project. Phase two of the development includes the addition of 40 residential cabins. The cabins will be for sale as fractional ownership in years to come yes fractional not full ownership.
In 2014, a new pier was constructed near the existing clubhouse. The new pier allows for better connectivity between activities at Edgewood Tahoe and the lake. In 2015, the 8th and 9th golf holes finished realignment to make room for the development. The new 9th hole has a spectacular finish right off the beach, similar to the 16th, 17th, and 18th holes on the back nine. The Lodge is being built where the former 9th fairway was, and the upcoming residential cabins will be built over time between the realigned 8th and 9th fairways.
Then we have the Tahoe Beach Club which will consist of 143 Luxury Condominium Residences, each designed with Lake Tahoe in mind. Exterior features include Modern Mountain styling with over sized terraces, exposed wood, stone and glass elements. Our 2, 3, 4, and 5 bedroom Residences will range from approximately 1,250 to over 4,000 square feet and will feature bonus rooms, natural gas fireplaces and luxurious state-of-the-art interior finishes. The location is in Nevada which is very appealing for most for tax reasons (sorry Uncle Sam). On one side sits the Edgewood golf course property which consists of 250 acres and the other side is 300 acres of beautiful meadows that attach to Nevada Beach. Starting prices of these condos are $1.5 million up to $4 million.
